What do Fosters Do?

Foster parents care for animals in their homes, giving them a calm, nurturing place to heal from shelter life while awaiting adoption.

How to Foster

Apply to Foster

Submit a foster application and we’ll reach out after review.

STEP 2

Select a Pet

Once approved, join our volunteer group on Facebook to view available pets.

From Foster to Forever

Care for your foster pet at home, bring them to adoption events, and observe their personality while UAAF handles medical care and placement.
